Services and Fee Structure
The Microscopy Center provides, as a service, routine preparation of biological samples for scanning and transmission electron microscopy. The need for specialized protocols should be discussed with the Center staff prior to specimen preparation. The Center now operates as a recharge center, as such there is an hourly charge for instruments use, a per sample charge for specimen preparation and consumables used during specimen preparation and microscopy. Users are welcome to supply their own consumables and use the laboratory for sample preparation at no charge.
