Application deadline:  To receive full consideration, it is recommended that all application materials (to the BCMB department and the graduate school) are received by February 1.

Step 1

Download, complete and submit the departmental application form. All fields must be completed.  Do not attach supplemental material.

  3. Specify a folder where the form is to be saved
  4. Left click "Save"

To submit the form:

  1. E-mail the completed form to: BCMBgradadmissions@utk.edu
  2. Save a copy of the completed form for your files

 

Step 2

Arrange for three (3) letters of recommendation to be sent to the department.

Step 3

Submit GRE and TOEFL (international students only) scores. For purposes of reporting GRE and TOEFL scores the institutional code for the University of Tennessee is 1843.  A departmental code is NOT required.
