LS 510 (section 001) Spring 2012

Plant Biology Research & Journal Club

This semester, we will try something new:
Students who want to talk about their own research can do so (hence the "Research Club").
And students who want to talk about someone else's research can do so, too (hence the "Journal Club").
Two classes in one!

If you need a little primer on what the Research Club concept is all about, look here. A general introduction on how to design nice slides is also available.

If you want to know how to select a paper for a Journal Club, look here.

If you have other questions, contact your friendly instructor, Andreas Nebenführ (974-9201; nebenfuehr(at)utk.edu; office: Hesler 240).

You can demonstrate your dedication by coming to our regular meetings on Thursdays at 2:00 pm in Hesler Biology 427.

And as always, guests are welcome.

Tell your friends! - Come in masses! - Have fun with science!
